WSKF England

Axios SKC is part of a group of UK clubs that together have formed World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation England, affiliated to the international organisation World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (WSKF) with its headquarters in Japan, established in 1990.  The primary objective of the WSKF is to teach and foster authentic Shotokan karate world-wide.  This is achieved by way of regular training classes, gradings, national and international courses with master instructors and championships at national and international level.

The WSKF Chief Instructor is Sensei Hitoshi Kasuya (8th Dan) based in Japan.  Sensei Kasuya regularly visits the UK to hold seminars and senior gradings.  Sensei Kasuya is a world-renowned karate master who graduated from the famous JKA Instructors Course.

Sensei Tomiko Mitsuoka (8th Dan) is the WSKF England Chief Instructor.

She is one of only a handful of women to have achieved 8th Dan in any karate style throughout the world.  Sensei Mitsuoka's club, Renseikan, is based in Farnham Common near Slough, where the technical committee and executive committee meetings are conducted as well as courses, seminars and squad training.
